We are looking for a Big Data Platform Administrator for a project based in Lisbon (Hybrid). Responsibilities: Administer and support Cloudera-based Hadoop clusters (on-premise) Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of the platform Ensure resource allocation, performance tuning, and hardware optimization Manage access controls, including Kerberos authentication, Ranger/Sentry policies, and TLS encryption Collaborate with infrastructure teams (network, storage, security) to maintain platform stability Automate tasks using Ansible and scripting (Python, Java) Monitor and troubleshoot services like YARN, Kafka, and HDFS Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing SKILLS: Cloudera or Big Data certifications Familiarity with ingestion tools (Kafka, NiFi, Flume) Knowledge of ITIL processes English- Advanced.
