About the Company

The Polytechnic of Leiria, a leading institution in higher education, is now opening applications for a scientific research fellowship within the project "Embalagem do Futuro + Ecológica + Digital + Inclusiva", co-financed by European funds allocated to Portugal.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of new glass containers for food and drink products that are more sustainable. The successful candidate will be involved in various stages of the project, including the optimisation of new prototyping processes by additive manufacturing and the technical development and prototyping of products at an advanced stage of realisation.

Requirements

  • Graduates in Industrial Design, Product Design or related areas, enrolled in a master's degree or non-degree course in the scientific areas indicated;
  • General experience/knowledge in the field of Product Design (40%);
  • Specific knowledge of 3D modelling and printing (30%);
  • Specific knowledge of glass product development (30%).

Benefits

The research fellow will receive a monthly maintenance stipend of €990.98 and will work under the scientific supervision of Professor Renato Jorge Costa Lopes Bispo. The work will be carried out at LIDA - Laboratory in Design and Arts of the Polytechnic of Leiria.
