The Senior Project Strategist at SAP Adoption Services Center (ASC) oversees the management of projects originating from SAP Market Units (MU) across various countries.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, track, and manage projects to ensure timely delivery of project outputs
- Identify key resources and provide governance to meet project objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes within specified criteria
The Senior Project Strategist ensures adherence to project management methodologies and provides team coaching to enhance performance. They also evaluate team member performance and promote knowledge management by collecting and communicating lessons learned.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and issues. Manage expectations and satisfaction on all project requirements to ensure positive customer references and success stories.
Project Planning and Execution: Conduct project planning activities and execute projects according to plan through the project life cycle from initiating to closing.
Risk Management: Identify changes in work scope and reassess the scope of work, budget, and timeline with stakeholders. Analyze risk, establish contingency plans, and identify trigger events for risk mitigation action.
Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor project teams to implement enterprise project management methodology, standards, and processes.
Requirements:- Proficient understanding of SAP solutions and consulting business processes
- Experience in traditional and Agile project management methodologies
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of professional experience. Minimum 3 years of project management experience in project implementations using formal project management methodology, techniques, and tools. PMP certification preferred.
