Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Senior Consultant to join our team in Portugal. As a key member of our Data Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end data management solutions to our customers, leveraging your expertise in data migration, data quality, and data integration.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise by designing and implementing data management solutions that drive business value and innovation.
- Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go-Live of customer implementation projects, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and realize strategic initiatives like migration, data quality, and data integration, as well as data warehouse design, modelling, and implementation for our customers.
- Presales acumen, assisting in defining the scope of a project or opportunity, estimating efforts, and project timelines.
- Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success, manage customer expectations, and avoid escalations.
- Work on projects delivered across geographies and cultures, fostering teamwork and collaboration mindset to promote knowledge sharing and ensure product adoption and consumption.
- Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills, enhance skills beyond own core technical focus.
Requirements
- 6+ years of project experience in development area, experience in data migration is a plus.
- Experience in one or more of the following SAP Data Management solutions/tools: LSMW, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, Selective Data Transition (SDT), SAP Migration Workbench (MWB), SAP Conversion Workbench (CWB).
- Strong programming skills on ABAP (mandatory), programming skills on SQL and/or Python (nice to have).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree.
- Working experience in large landscapes, environments, or customers.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently, coach/mentor younger colleagues into delivering quality projects and consulting services.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written), analytical, results-driven, and solution-oriented approach.
- Technical curiosity, innovative mindset, and out-of-the-box thinking, proactive, flexible, with a 'can do' attitude, will to adventure, and deep dive into new technologies.
- Languages: Business English, conversational/advanced German or any other European language is an added advantage.
- Working Model: Hybrid model, ready to travel for assignments within EMEA (up to 30% of working time).
