  • Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for data ownership.
  • Establish data quality standards and metrics.
  • Monitor and report on data quality issues, working with data stewards and business units to resolve them.
  • Develop, document, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies related to data privacy and security.
  • Lead the development and implementation of MDM strategies to ensure a single source of truth for key data domains.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including data owners, business leaders, and IT, to align data governance efforts with business objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and initiatives.
  • Experience with data governance tools, metadata management, and data quality tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
