**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IB English A: Language and Literature Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. This includes guiding students through their Internal and External Assessments, ensuring academic success, and contributing to the school's broader educational objectives.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for IB English A: Language and Literature at Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL)
  2. Support students in preparing for IB Internal Assessments (Individual Oral, HL Essay) and External Assessments (Paper 1: Textual Analysis, Paper 2: Comparative Essay)
  3. Provide regular and constructive feedback to enhance students' analytical and communication skills
  4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IB reporting and moderation
  5. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, professional development, and cross-disciplinary initiatives

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching IB English A (Language and Literature or Literature) or an equivalent advanced secondary curriculum (e.g., A-Level, AP, IGCSE)
