About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Risk Manager to join our team in Lisbon. As a key member of our risk advisory team, you will be responsible for helping our clients evaluate and enhance their business by providing expert advice on technology risk management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and help ensure your teams do the same.
  • Manage multiple client teams, lead IT internal audit engagements, external audit integration, or SOC reporting.
  • Assist with business development activities across financial services sectors.
  • Coordinate, plan and deliver IT audit engagements, SOC reporting, external audits, internal audits and IT internal controls especially focusing on complex banking, capital markets, wealth & asset management or insurance systems.
  • Work with the team and the client to develop risk assessments, design innovative audit approaches, plan engagement objectives, manage the execution of fieldwork, and draft and deliver audit reports and results.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of financial services processes and complex information systems.
  • Use extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate their impacts.
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills and inspire teamwork.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong academic education in financial, technological or analytical fields of study and at least 4 years of experience working as an IT auditor or IT risk advisor for a public accounting firm or professional services firm, or comparable experience as an advisor to a financial services company.

You should have significant experience with internal audit risk assessment, SOX/internal controls, Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting in the financial services sector, direct audit experience with trading and risk management systems and product ledgers/subledgers, and strong project management skills.

You should also possess advanced written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills, excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills, demonstrated integrity within a professional environment, and full English proficiency.
