We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at Skyline Communications.

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications using Microsoft .NET and Microsoft Azure PAAS Services.

You will work closely with our agile team to deliver cutting-edge cloud software and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-native applications with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Developing and maintaining C# code and integrating software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Assisting with the development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
  • Participating in agile events and activities and taking responsibility for sprint deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge of C# and Microsoft Azure Cloud, private/public cloud, storage, and serverless architecture.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and its implementation using distributed application infrastructure setup and configuration.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging on Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with Azure CLI, container services, Git, Azure DevOps, and Event Hubs is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure Storage (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB) is an extra asset.
  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in Computer Science, ICT, Software, and/or Telecom.
