We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that we operate in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our internal teams to develop and implement effective compliance programs, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure that our policies and procedures align with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of compliance procedures with operational processes
  • Act as a liaison with external regulatory agencies and auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within blockchain and/or payment industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications advantageous
  • Knowledge of AML regulations and payment services legislation within the banking/financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across various levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently and as part of a team
