Glocomms is an IT Consultancy seeking a skilled Data Protection Specialist to join their team on a long-term freelance mission.

The ideal candidate will lead daily GDPR compliance activities within the 1st Line of Defense (1LoD). This role involves supporting clients in meeting their Privacy by Design and other data protection requirements, working closely with the Central Data Office, the SPOC network (1LoD), and the DPC/DPO network (2LoD).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project validation processes adhere to Privacy by Design principles and assist Project Managers with their data protection tasks.
  • Manage incoming requests via the CIB GDPR DESK inbox, including Data Subject Rights Requests.
  • Publish periodic reports for the CIB GDPR DESK and manage a dedicated SharePoint space.
  • Promote a culture of personal data protection within the organization.
  • Develop and share best practices within the data protection network.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Practical experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Mastery of English (C1-C2 level).
  • Minimum English proficiency of C1.
  • Mandatory experience or academic background in EU GDPR.
  • Knowledge of other privacy laws and regulations is a plus.

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to senior audiences.
  • Proactive and able to leverage transversal networks.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
