ResponsibilitiesThe Business Continuity Plan Implementation and Review Specialist will be responsible for:
- Creating and implementing Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) that align with industry standards;
- Conducting thorough Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities;
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans;
- Delivering training and awareness programs to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining business continuity;
- Coordinating regular BCP tests and exercises to ensure their effectiveness;
- Reviewing and updating the BCP regularly to reflect changes in business processes, technology, and the risk environment.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in business continuity management, risk management, or related areas;
- Experience in conducting BIAs and continuity tests;
- Certifications in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer) and Information Security (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) are desirable;
- Proven experience in developing and implementing BCPs;
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 standards;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- Proactivity and results orientation.
