A Steward at Hilton Copacabana Rio De Janeiro is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our back of house areas. This includes operating pot-washing machinery, performing general cleaning duties, and ensuring all kitchen and back of house areas are kept clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities- Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment
- Carry out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing up, and emptying rubbish bins
- Ensure all kitchen and back of house areas are kept clean and safe
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
- Perform other reasonable tasks as set by the Hotel's Management
We're looking for a positive and proactive individual who is able to work under pressure and as part of a team. Previous kitchen porter experience is advantageous, but not essential. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
