As a Localization QA Game Tester at PTW, you'll be part of our esteemed Localization Quality Assurance team, responsible for ensuring that localized games are free from errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. You'll work with a multinational project team, collaborating to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team to ensure seamless game localization.
- Identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and grammatical mistakes.
- Maintain console manufacturer guidelines and adhere to strict quality standards.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions to enhance the overall gaming experience.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Our Team Performs Language Checks on:
Top gaming titles for leading publishers across various platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, mobile, and tablet devices.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (the original language)
- Strong cultural understanding of languages
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
- Rigorous Internet research skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, collaborating within project teams
We Offer:
A competitive salary of €12,851 gross annual, complemented by €6 per working day in meal allowance. As a valued member of our team, you'll receive comprehensive training, opportunities to work on big-game clients and projects, and an attractive remuneration package.
