About the Role
As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team, being the first to see the localized game. You'll experience the project as end-users will, ensuring the game is free from errors and accurately localized. You will work in a multilingual project team, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team to ensure accurate localization.
- Identify and correct language errors, ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content, ensuring proper display of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found, performing ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
We perform language checks on a range of games for various platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, and mobile devices. As an LQA Game Tester, you will work on top gaming titles for leading publishers.
Requirements:
- Fluency in European Spanish or Latin American Spanish and English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the language.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate within project teams.
