The Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Architect to join our Data Science area, as part of multidisciplinary teams focused on developing machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions in complex technical environments. You will leverage innovative technologies to build AI solutions under various predictive analytics and deep learning paradigms, applying architectural and development principles.

Main Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Architect at SDG Group, you will lead teams of machine learning engineers in implementing AI solutions in enterprise environments. Your key tasks include:

  • Defining and designing Advanced Analytics platforms in the cloud to cover the entire data science lifecycle from an MLOps perspective.
  • Collaborating with customers to define their strategy and methodology for data science exercises in these platforms.
  • Knowledge and use of various tools and platforms available in different clouds for data science solution development: Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Amazon SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, etc.
  • Collaboration in the development of the company's value proposition in terms of data science, focusing on ML system architectures.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in computer science, telecommunication engineering, or a related field with proximity to software engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a machine learning engineer and/or architect.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of data science fundamentals, data science solution lifecycles, and MLOps methodology.
  • Experience in software development and implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with state-of-the-art technologies for foundation of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions in the cloud.
