The Role
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our delivery team in Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional project teams, coordinating technical implementation tasks, process reengineering, and organizational change activities. Your primary objective will be to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meet technical requirements while achieving business objectives.
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you will need +7 years of experience as an IT Project Manager. You should have experience leading functional and technical teams to deliver IT solutions, including software design, development, and configuration, application technical integrations, and IT infrastructure requirements. A degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field is preferred. Proficiency in English is essential.
Responsibilities
Manage cross-functional project teams
Coordinate and control team activities, including technical implementation tasks, process reengineering, and organizational change activities
Prepare project execution plans and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, meet technical requirements, and achieve business objectives
Manage budget and schedule
Select, develop, and leverage appropriate technical and business resources needed for successful project execution
Align the project team around the project's vision, strategy, goals, methodology, and business objectives
Manage project resources and external stakeholders such as subcontractors and service suppliers
Lead regular project reviews with external and internal stakeholders, including senior IT and business leaders
Coordinate and maintain program communications
Ensure project results are of the highest caliber, meeting technical and behavioral objectives, business case targets, and planned value
