Flowtec Group is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic international team in Lisbon. As a technical leader, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing Java-based applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Docker, and modern DevOps practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
  • Architect and implement scalable microservices and ensure seamless REST API integrations.
  • Lead by example—mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices.
  • Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (with a planned migration to GitLab).
  • Ensure Dockerized deployments and collaborate with DevOps teams for seamless automation.
  • Innovate and contribute to the technical vision of the team.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer with strong expertise in Spring Boot.
  • Proven track record in microservices architecture and REST API development.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Jenkins, and willingness to migrate to GitLab CI/CD.
