About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at PlatformE. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine software requirements
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver software projects on time and within scope
  • Provide technical expertise and support to other team members
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of software development processes

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • +3 years of proven experience in web application development
  • Knowledge of database systems and data modelling
  • Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, bonus points for Shape Up
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages
