About the Role
We are currently seeking a talented Cloud Foundations Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Portugal. As a Cloud Foundations Engineer, you will play a key role in the definition and implementation of cloud standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Cloud Foundations Engineer include:
- Contributing to the definition of standards and good practices on the cloud foundations of Richemont.
- Working hand in hand with projects and products counterparts to guide them through the cloud transformation within Richemont by using automation.
- Engaging with stakeholders to discover opportunities and improvement points, map vision & requirements to specific products and components.
- Actively participating in the standardization of our architecture offers and contributing to the implementation of complex and smart automation and infrastructure as code.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A deep understanding of GCP, with experience in building landing zones at scale in a global and multi-cloud environment.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
- Excellent communication skills and autonomy to follow tasks and assist projects.
- Good analytical thinking and skills to report efficiently to a wide audience.
- Fluent in English, with French a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model with experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, delivering features in small time durations and utilizing automation whenever possible.
