Senior Sales Expert for Indirect Tax Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Sovos Compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in tax compliance, where innovation meets impact.

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support during the sales cycle for our Indirect Tax Technology Suite (ITTS).

Your primary responsibility will be to act as a bridge between sales and product teams, utilizing your technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs. You will work closely with our Direct Sales and Alliance teams to ensure seamless integration of product offerings with client requirements.

With a strong background in Sales Engineering and experience working with complex technology systems, you will develop robust sales strategies, conduct impactful product demonstrations, and provide comprehensive technical support to both clients and internal sales teams.

You will report directly to the Sales Engineering Manager – Europe, and collaborate with Professional Services and product functions to ensure successful onboarding post-sale. Your expertise will also be essential in maintaining and continually improving demonstration capabilities to present a compelling narrative about the key features and benefits of Sovos' solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education, and minimum 6 years of Sales Engineer experience. They should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with multiple language skills preferred. Strong team orientation, ability to manage multiple projects, and self-motivation are also essential qualities for this role.
