About the Role

As a senior backend engineer, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to create software products that range from small web applications to massive digital transformations of entire enterprises and their processes.

  • Develop software products that meet customer needs;
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals;
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code;
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies;
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members;
Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Relevant full-time experience in software engineering and programming, at least 5 years of experience;
  • Strong understanding of relational (preferably PostgreSQL) and/or non-relational databases (e.g. Redis);
  • Strong experience with backend programming languages;
  • Experience in developing APIs;
  • Comfort in being outside your comfort zone;
  • Teamwork skills;
  • Good English skills, written and spoken;
  • Craftsmanship to create clean, maintainable code;
  • Comfort with version control systems (we use Git);
  • Knowledge of standard development pipelines, including build and other automation tools;
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD;
