Affinity is seeking an experienced Red Hat Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Red Hat Linux infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Linux infrastructure solutions using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 4 and above).
- Configure and manage Linux servers, services, and applications.
- Implement updates, security patches, and software upgrades to ensure system security and compliance.
- Develop and implement scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Linux engineer (at least 5 years).
- Advanced knowledge of Linux systems, including RHEL 4 and above.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, including Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Postgres, and others.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or similar).
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Perl).
- Knowledge of virtualisation platforms (KVM, VMware, or others).
- Ability to design and implement scalable and secure Linux infrastructure solutions.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent).
- Experience with cloud-based Linux systems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
