Job Title: Chief Information Security Strategist

Salary Range: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Governance Officer to oversee the implementation of our cyber governance practices. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the entity's conformity with all relevant cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, including ISO and NIST standards. You will work closely with our IT department to define IT security policies within scope, monitor the formalization of cyber controls, and perform regular reporting on entity conformity levels to our top management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of cyber governance practices across the organization
  • Ensure conformity with all relevant cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, including ISO and NIST standards
  • Collaborate with the IT department to define IT security policies within scope
  • Monitor the formalization of cyber controls
  • Perform regular reporting on entity conformity levels to the top management
  • Raise awareness among employees on security practices and conformity rules

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in Cybersecurity (3-4 years of experience)
  • Previous experience in strategy or governance is an asset
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 & NIST standards
  • Ability to translate regulatory standards into internal policies
  • Regulatory knowledge in IT and cybersecurity regulators framework
  • Control skills to verify operations and ensure procedures are followed
  • Cybersecurity knowledge in risks, frameworks, and requirements
  • Risk opinion skills to challenge, approve, and decide on new activities and projects
  • IT knowledge of global processes, assets, and solutions
  • Business/IT relationship skills to understand business needs
