Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team and contribute to our global supply chain effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with Group Supply Chain Policies and Processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify purchasing activities, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes.
  • Tendering Process: Lead tendering processes, qualify suppliers, issue requests for information/proposal/quotations, analyze offers, and develop recommendations for bidder selection.
  • Contractual and Commercial Negotiations: Lead negotiations with vendors, perform financial/commercial analysis, manage claims and improvement plans, and conduct internal contract checkpoints.
  • Global Supply Chain Effectiveness: Support implementation of category management, execute contract and supplier management, identify and escalate issues with strategic suppliers, and provide knowledge insights of the market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in indirect purchasing, preferably in a listed company operating globally.
  • Past exposure to ERP implementation is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Business/Customer Focus.

  • Ability to frame recommendations, especially when complexity and sensitivity are at stake.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Proactive and hands-on problem solver.
