As a Business Development Manager at Cision, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth by positioning our PR targeting solutions as the preferred choice for companies and PR agencies in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business leads in Portugal and maximize revenue through strategic account management.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through regular contact and become an ambassador for Cision.
  • Manage existing client portfolios, renew services, and pursue upsell/cross-sell initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Provide regular sales feedback and ensure CRM data is up to date to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and be proactive in identifying and negotiating new business opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets and growing a client base in the relevant industries such as corporate communications, marketing, public relations, investor relations, advertising, and/or media sales.
  • 3-5 years of sales and/or new business development experience, preferably in enterprise-level sales and SaaS solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience selling to decision-makers (C-level) and excellent communication skills (both phone and face-to-face).
  • Ability to travel regularly and manage time effectively to meet business objectives.
