Job Description
">- As Director of International Engineering Operations, you will oversee the global operations of IT systems, solutions, and applications for Product Creation in a multi-site engineering network.
- You will steer and monitor various third-party providers who operate server infrastructure, data networks, security systems, and more.
- Collaborating with engineering departments and business units, you will get requirements and architecture for the IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and provide tools and environments for mCAD/eCAD, simulation, modelling, test(-automation), multi-site build-chains, AI training systems, and XaaS dev ops teams.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Ensure reliable, efficient, and secure operation of Engineering IT systems, solutions, and applications.
- Manage service contracts and perform effective service and contract management for external service providers based on service level agreements.
- Develop and implement efficient security measures to minimize cyber security risks for the IDE.
- Work closely with executives, department heads, system users, and stakeholders to optimize and harmonize the effectiveness and robustness of the IDE.
- Establish an emergency strategy and contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- Several years of leadership experience in an international and intercultural context with personnel and budget responsibility.
- Proven track record in managing comprehensive and international portfolios of IT services, sourced from partners.
- Experience in identifying and implementing performance measures.
- Good understanding of current technical IT solutions and future requirements.
- Familiarity with organizational business objectives, processes, and priorities to align IT infrastructure strategies with overall goals.
- Excellent communication and initiative skills; business fluent in written and spoken English, German a plus.
- Ability to work independently with high commitment and resilience in challenging environments.
