Main Responsibilities
- Test Development and Execution: Develop and execute various types of tests to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Exploratory Testing: Perform exploratory testing to detect undocumented problems and improve overall product quality.
- Test Case Management: Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough testing.
- Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify and report bugs/defects using appropriate tools, and create detailed bug reports for reproduction.
- Test Strategy Development: Develop and maintain test strategies when applicable, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Test Tool Expertise: Utilize test and defect management tools effectively.
- Status Reporting: Prepare and present status reports to clients, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
- Team Leadership and Training: Lead and train team members as needed, promoting professional growth and development.
- Feedback and Collaboration: Provide constructive feedback to the development team and participate in meetings as required.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing and quality processes within the organization.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, which is above the average for this type of position in Coimbra.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: At least 6 years of professional experience in similar functions.
- Functional Testing: Experience in design, planning, and execution of functional testing.
- Test Management Tools: Familiarity with test management tools, defect management tools, and reporting.
- SQL Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
- Language Skills: Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Nice-to-Haves
- Degree: Degree in computer science or similar.
- ISTQB Certifications: ISTQB certifications.
