About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Airbus, responsible for securing the fulfillment of FAL, Pre-FAL and integrators needs of components. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and logistics, with excellent communication and change management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting activities to ensure timely delivery of components
- Placement and/or follow-up of purchase orders with suppliers
- Effective communication with internal stakeholders, including supply chain quality, engineering, version managers, buyers, CFIs, logistic coordinators, program representatives, and warehouse operators
- Attendance at performance review meetings and dedicated meetings with suppliers
- Reporting activities, including data analysis
- Inventory management activities to maintain optimal levels
- Familiarity with Airbus ERP System (SAP PDA/PGI/PEA) and other specific tools
Requirements
- Past experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Procurement, including process management aspect
- Strong communication and change management skills
- Customer-focused approach with ability to prioritize tasks in emergency situations
- Digital background with eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to change
- A degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluency in English sufficient for negotiations and team meetings; French or German a plus
- Able to travel domestically and internationally when needed
- Rigorous and concentrated work style
