Data Engineers play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data architectures that power data-driven products and services. They leverage cloud platforms, big data technologies, and advanced analytics to build robust, high-performance data solutions that enable seamless data flows, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Combine technical expertise with strategic collaboration across teams to design and deploy data models, data warehouses, data pipelines, event-driven processes, and governance and quality frameworks.
- Work closely with stakeholders and data practitioners to align data strategies with business objectives, ensuring efficient data collection, processing, and leveraging for decision-making and innovation.
- Provide essential infrastructure and tools to support business teams, machine learning initiatives, and enterprise-wide artificial intelligence applications.
- Enable the organization to harness the full potential of its data, drive automation, and foster a culture of continuous innovation and data excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in Cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS and expertise in Big Data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to build scalable data systems and manage large datasets effectively.
- Knowledge in data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Ability to design and deploy event-driven architectures, as well as data lakes and data warehouses.
- Knowledge of data governance practices such as data quality, profiling, cleansing.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python and SQL for data processing, transformation, and automation.
- Familiarity with data analysis using tools like Pandas and PySpark.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand business needs, and translate those needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
