We are currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Irelands Leading Nursing Home in Dublin.

Company Overview:

Our care team has extensive clinical experience, specializing in dementia care and aiming to provide holistic person-centered care to all residents.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will support the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents, ensuring their hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining their dignity at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needs
  • Assist residents with mobilizing as appropriate and using correct aids
  • Escorts and transfers residents as directed by the Nursing staff
  • Participate in activities with residents
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have 6 months' experience in Healthcare or a similar environment, with practical experience in a caring capacity desired.

You must be able to work independently or as part of a team, possess a professional, caring, and empathetic nature, and be comfortable working in a sometimes challenging environment.

A good level of English language skills and availability to work varied shift patterns, including days, nights & weekends across Monday to Sunday, are also essential.
