About the Role:

The Product Expert will play a crucial role in our customer success efforts by working closely with our product, sales, and services teams. This position requires strategic guidance to named OpenData customers to increase their value from the OpenData product.

You will act as a strategic consultant to identify opportunities for improvement and promote the right usage/adoption of OpenData long-term. Additionally, you will identify and share best practices across customers, ensure they have the necessary knowledge, and pinpoint any product gaps.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer success by ensuring customers fully utilize and benefit from Veeva OpenData
  • Lead customers as the OpenData subject matter expert towards the best OpenData experience
  • Evaluate how customers manage their OpenData investments and identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements
  • Support customers with OpenData deep dive and education sessions through reporting and product releases
  • Be the customer advocate for product innovation and work with the OpenData Product Team to identify possible product enhancements from customer feedback
  • Manage (ad-hoc) customer requests with the help of a cross-functional Veeva team (product, services, operations, strategy)
  • Drive OpenData product communication
  • Capture OpenData best practices and share these learnings with OpenData management

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated 5+ years of data experience in the Life Science Industry
  • Proven track record of establishing client-facing relationships as a strategic trusted advisor
  • Ability to take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to an audience of varying technical levels
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to process and interpret customer information (product utilization data and customer requirements) to help drive adoption
  • Self-starter who will take ownership of the ongoing success of large clients
  • Bachelor's Degree

Estimated Salary: $120,000 per year
