About the Position
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of PhD Researcher in sustainable textiles and fashion design. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the textile industry and have the opportunity to collaborate with experts in the field.
About the Project
The project aims to enhance the research capabilities of the Centre for Textile Science and Technology at the University of Minho. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing training actions in the field of sustainability in the textile and fashion chain and analyzing the life cycle of textile products. Your work will also involve providing training within the scope of the project and disseminating results through reports, scientific articles, communications, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop training resources for application in training sessions
- Analyze the life cycle of textile products
- Provide training within the scope of the project
- Disseminate results through reports, scientific articles, communications, etc.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Textile Design and Marketing or related areas
- Previous experience as a researcher in the area of Materials, Technologies and Textile Design
- Skills in the use of Life Cycle Assessment tools, particularly software such as Gabi LCA in the field of textile product assessment
- Certificate of Pedagogical Training Qualification (CCP) valid for the national territory
- Experience in organizing and planning training activities in the area of textile sustainability and LCA
