About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Java developer and software architect with expertise in Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the implementation of microservices using these technologies, ensuring code quality and maintain best development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable architectures for enterprise applications
  • Lead the implementation of microservices using Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security)
  • Ensure code quality and maintain best development practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
  • Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of existing systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Conduct code reviews and promote a collaborative, agile development environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Java developer and software architect
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security
  • Knowledge of designing and developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in Portuguese
