About the Role

The Cyber Automation and Integration team plays a vital role in ensuring our cyber operations are optimised and technology does not work in isolation. This highly technical role involves understanding a large amount of cyber capability from endpoint, network, identity, and code/development spaces. While we don't expect you to be an expert in all areas, a good grasp of core concepts is essential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform automation activities across multiple standardised web-based API standards (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  • Build and maintain code bases across multiple projects.
  • Support .NET project development and lead the innovation of new features into services.
  • Leverage security automation tooling and develop playbooks and workflows based on operational use cases.
  • Develop integration capability across multiple tooling sources.
  • Maintain cloud-based infrastructure associated with team projects.
  • Construct technical documentation related to projects and developments.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, risks, technical innovations, and security capabilities.
  • Optimise cyber tooling and capability to enhance cyber protection across the business.
  • Understand secure development best practices when it comes to development.

Requirements

  • A strong development background in .NET (C#) with experience working on complex implementations.
  • Proficiency in building scripts using Python and PowerShell.
  • Experience in building development pipelines.
  • A good grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and their implementation in development projects.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of standard cybersecurity tooling such as EDR, VM, Firewalls, XDR, SIEM, etc.
  • Desirable experience working in a security operations team.
  • Ability to generate high-quality solution documentation and designs.
  • Understanding of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tooling.
  • Experience working in environments using Agile frameworks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical or less technical audiences.

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As a senior member of the team, you will have opportunities for professional growth and development.
