Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to lead our testing efforts and ensure the highest quality of our software products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Perform exploratory testing to detect undocumented problems
- Identify bugs/defects and report them on an appropriate tool
- Create detailed bug reports with screenshots and step-by-step explanations
- Develop and maintain test strategies when applicable
- Use test and defect management tools
- Elaborate and present status reporting for clients
- Lead and train team members in projects when applicable
- Provide constructive feedback to the development team
- Participate in meetings when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in similar functions
- Experience in design, planning, and execution of functional testing
- Experience in test management tools, defect management tools, and reporting
- Knowledge of Regression, Integration, and E2E Testing
- SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Autonomy in QA tasks and capacity for decision-making
- Team management skills
- Training skills
- Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Capacity for initiative, dynamism, and proactivity
