Job Description:

As a Senior R&D Electrical Engineer at our esteemed client, you will be part of a dynamic team that is revolutionizing the energy sector. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and development of digital and analog electronics for controlling electronic systems.

Your expertise in managing end-to-end project execution from initial specifications to design, prototyping, and production will be invaluable in delivering innovative solutions. You will oversee the development of products such as electric vehicle charging stations, home batteries, inverters, local controllers, gateways, and load monitoring hardware.

In addition to your technical skills, you will supervise a team of hardware and electrical engineers, ensuring high-quality results. Collaboration with software engineers, project managers, and business analysts will be essential in delivering comprehensive solutions.

You will conduct technical requirements analysis and specification drafting, overseeing the sourcing and selection of components. Optimizing installation processes for consumer-facing products to enhance usability and performance will also be a key aspect of your role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • A PhD in a relevant field would be considered an advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering roles
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
