Job Description

The role of Maintenance Manager at VOSSLOH Gruppe is a critical position that requires strong leadership and technical skills. The purpose of this role is to ensure the reliable and cost-effective operation of site fixed and mobile equipment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Provide safety guidance and oversight to the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance routines (PMR) in accordance with the PMR register.
  • Work Planning and Execution: Create weekly maintenance schedules, including PMR, planned corrective work, and improvements.
  • Custodian of PWR System: Review and manage Priority Work Request (PWR) submissions from others, collaborating with the factory manager as needed.
  • Corrective and Improvement Work: Plan and execute corrective and improvement work, including procurement of parts and materials.
  • PWM Generation: Create Work Management (PWM) requests based on tradesperson feedback during PMR execution.
  • Review and Update PMR: Regularly review and update PMR routines to ensure they remain effective.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare annual maintenance budgets and shutdown plans, as well as maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Technical Background: A mechanical trades background or graduate mechanical engineering degree, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance planning/scheduling and supervision in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Software Skills: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to manage the efficiency of the maintenance team.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the organization.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Comprehension of first-order maintenance principles and a mechanical aptitude.
