We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics. As a Data Scientist at Capgemini Engineering, you will contribute to developing and implementing AI models and algorithms to address complex business challenges. Your Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of data science initiatives and projects, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to comprehend business needs, designing, and implementing statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Leveraging big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for processing and analyzing large volumes of data, or equivalent cloud computing expertise.
  • Developing and deploying predictive models and algorithms in real-world production environments.
  • Conducting comprehensive exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation.
  • Effectively communicating finding and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Requirements

You should have 2 or more years of experience in data science roles with a focus on statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics. Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL, Python, and distributed/cloud processing framework such as Pyspark is required. Familiarity with advanced analytics libraries/frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn is also essential. Robust understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and various machine learning techniques is necessary. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as Seaborn, Matplotlib, or Plotly is highly valued. Proven ability to work with large datasets and experience in distributed computing frameworks, either on-premises or in the cloud, is required. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, are necessary. Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills for addressing complex data challenges are crucial. Hold a solid academic foundation in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering, Data & AI, or Computer Sciences. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) is a plus.
