Role Overview

As a Producer at Overflow Labs, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the production lifecycle of our Unreal 5 multiplayer hero shooter game. This full-time, fully remote position offers the chance to work with a talented team from around the world, overseeing project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day production processes, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
  • Coordinate with Art, Design, and Programming departments for smooth workflow and clear communication.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, including risk management plans to mitigate potential delays.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Facilitate team meetings and scrums, promoting a proactive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee budget allocation and manage resources effectively to maximize efficiency and output.
  • Implement strategies to foster team motivation and maintain high morale throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Production, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in game development, with 2+ years in a production role.
  • A proven track record of successfully shipped games, preferably within the AAA space.
  • Strong understanding of game development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
