Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Global Technical Governance Manager to join our team at SGS. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance to our network, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements and standards. You will also contribute to the development of new certification schemes and provide technical advice and guidance to our Standardization and Operations team.
Main Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement strategies for accreditation and certification, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- To provide technical support and guidance to our network, addressing any technical issues or concerns.
- To collaborate with our Standardization and Operations team to develop new certification schemes and products.
- To engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry bodies, to promote our services and build relationships.
- To stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and standards, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- A Graduate degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical governance or management role, preferably in the industry.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation and certification processes, as well as relevant standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
