About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Architect Developer to join our team at Mindera.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Agile Delivery Leads, Quality Advocates, Data Engineers, Data Solutions Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, expectations, and concerns. They will need to coordinate the flow of information between multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, leveraging your technical skills to design and implement robust solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining effective working relationships with team members and external partners. This includes providing regular updates, collaborating on project planning, and contributing to the development of project plans and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of project requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including project status, issues, and resolutions.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, Python or similar languages for scripting and automation.

ETL Tools: Experience with ETL frameworks like dbt, Apache Airflow, Talend, or others.

Data Modeling: Knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalization/denormalization.

Data Warehousing: Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or Azure Synapse.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage, processing, and analytics.

Version Control: Proficiency with Git or other version control systems for collaborative development.

Data Visualization: Basic understanding of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, although not a primary responsibility.
