We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Portugal. As a senior member of our Finance Department, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our Portuguese Company, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax laws.
About the Role:You will work closely with our Finance Director to provide support in reporting, financial analysis, and maintaining the integrity of our financial records. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring timely and accurate monthly and annual financial closing, preparing and reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in compliance with local Portuguese GAAP.
Requirements:- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or similar) would be an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment, knowledge of local Portuguese tax regulations and accounting practices, experience in payroll processing and compliance with Portuguese labor laws.
