Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this Cybersecurity Engineer position is approximately €60,000 - €90,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and the cost of living in Lisbon or Porto.

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Expert at Top Sigma, you will serve as a key lead in client projects, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and best practices throughout all project phases. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and developing security documentation to ensure alignment with internal and client-specific cybersecurity standards.
  • Providing consulting services on information security requirements related to procurement and supplier management, enhancing security within the supply chain.
  • Collaborating with legal teams on contract reviews to ensure information security clauses align with organizational standards.
  • Promoting Security by Design Principles, guiding clients on best practices from project inception to completion.
  • Enhancing Security Processes by defining and refining security policies, procedures, and documentation to align with evolving cybersecurity demands.
  • Developing and tracking KPIs related to cybersecurity efforts, delivering actionable insights for security performance across projects.
  • Conducting Security Risk Analysis, challenging existing methods and recommending improvements based on ISO 27001 and other relevant standards.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering roles, with demonstrated ability to manage security protocols within large-scale projects.
  • A strong understanding of ISO 27001 and other cybersecurity standards.
  • Familiarity with Security by Design principles and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience developing security documentation, including policies, procedures, and project documentation.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including legal and procurement departments.
  • A consultative mindset to guide cybersecurity best practices tailored to client needs.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate security performance data and track meaningful KPIs.
  • Ability to identify risks proactively and offer actionable recommendations to improve security frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
