About Our Job
As a Strategic Technology Director at Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation across our organization. You will lead the development and execution of the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term IT initiatives. This role requires a seasoned IT Enterprise Architect who can guide the business in enterprise architecture decisions, identify synergies across different business types, and partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external stakeholders to drive digital transformation.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive digital transformation across our organization
- Lead the development and execution of the enterprise architecture strategy
- Guide the business in enterprise architecture decisions
- Identify synergies across different business types
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external stakeholders
Key Qualifications
Education:
- University Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Experience & Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and IT portfolio management
- Strong understanding of the software business (preferably within the industrial sector) and its technological needs
- Extensive experience with the Salesforce platform; familiarity with other enterprise solutions such as SAP, Microsoft, AWS, and Snowflake is a plus
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and portfolio lifecycle management best practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in LeanIX for Enterprise Architecture Management
- Proven ability to optimize application portfolios and manage IT assets to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance business value
- Expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, data management, and emerging technologies such as AI and IoT
