About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work closely with our cross-functional agile product development team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes.
You will have a strong focus on delivering high-quality results while working in an iterative and collaborative environment. Your primary goal will be to provide timely and meaningful feedback to our customers, business, and product teams to ensure that our software meets the required standards.
Your Responsibilities- Collaborate with the customer, business, and product teams to review requirements and technical outlines of features.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases to identify software problems.
- Apply testing processes for new and existing features.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases.
- Track quality assurance metrics.
- Analyze errors by examining server log files and database records.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, strategies, and methodologies.
- Support user acceptance assessments when necessary.
- Proven experience in developing test plans and test cases from functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools (Cypress and/or Playwright experience preferred), and processes.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect descriptions.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of scripting languages.
- Degree in technical engineering or comparable qualifications/experience (ISTQB or related certification is a plus).
- 'Can-do' attitude and open mindset.
- Fluent English language skills.
