We are currently seeking a highly skilled Central Material Planner to join our team
As a Central Material Planner, you will be responsible for executing the procurement process related to serial materials supply in your own portfolio, ensuring that production schedules are respected and Service Levels Agreements (SLA) and agreed Operational Cost (transaction cost) are met.
You will also follow up on the execution of plans, raise alerts when needed, and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedules. Additionally, you will ensure that platforms and plants receive necessary materials and resources to meet production goals and service delivery objectives, managing and optimizing transport flows.
Your scope may include inbound and outbound transportation, using various modes such as road, sea, and air, as well as different types of shipments like Full Truck Load (FTL), Less than Truck Load (LTL), and Shared Flows.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management, with first-hand experience in transport operations or material planning. Proficiency in SAP, especially MM, PP, and TM modules, is highly appreciated. Moreover, you should possess excellent multi-functional and multi-cultural communication skills, be bi-lingual (English + one other language), and demonstrate customer orientation, team spirit, resiliency, autonomy, and openness to new ideas.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport organization and work closely with timelines.
In return, we offer a competitive salary range of approximately €50,000 - €65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
