About the Position
In this key position, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enforcing data governance policies and practices across the organization.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring data quality, consistency, availability, and security, thereby empowering the organization to make informed data-driven decisions.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing and implementing a data governance framework aligned with the organization's strategic objectives;
- Defining roles and responsibilities related to data governance, ensuring clear accountability for data ownership;
- Establishing data quality standards and metrics;
- Monitoring and reporting on data quality issues, collaborating with data stewards and business units to resolve them;
- Developing, documenting, and enforcing data governance policies, standards, and procedures;
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies related to data privacy and security;
- Leading the development and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) strategies to ensure a single source of truth for key data domains;
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including data owners, business leaders, and IT professionals, to align data governance efforts with business objectives.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced professional with:
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field;
- Proven track record in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and initiatives;
- Experience with data governance tools, metadata management, and data quality tools;
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
