Role Overview


We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our Product-Engineering team. As a key member of our squad, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our scalable and high-performance software systems. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers, to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.


Key Responsibilities


As a Software Engineer at Triptease, your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Designing and developing scalable, high-performance software systems using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and other technologies.
  • Collaborating with our Product Managers to identify and prioritize product requirements, ensuring our solutions meet customer needs.
  • Working closely with our Designers to create user-centered and intuitive interfaces.
  • Participating in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to our coding standards.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues, providing solutions and implementing fixes.
  • Contributing to the development of our deployment pipelines, A/B testing, real-time analytics, and monitoring tools.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our products and services.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you'll need:



  • Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of programming languages, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, high-availability systems, and scalability.
  • Experience with testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software systems.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP and how the internet works.
  • Experience with deployment pipelines, A/B testing, real-time analytics, and monitoring tools.
