**Key Responsibilities**

We are seeking an experienced Metrology Programmer to join our Quality Department in Woking. As a Metrology Programmer, you will be responsible for examining and measuring components to ensure they meet the high-quality standards required by McLaren Automotive.

**Your Tasks**

  • Prepare car body structures for measurement.
  • Measure car body structures using GOM Scanbox 8160 to pre-written programs.
  • Verify dimensional accuracy of car body structures.
  • Notify supervisor/team leader when the product fails to meet standards.
  • Report measurement data to the relevant internal customers.
  • File measurement reports on relevant network location.

**Requirements**

  • Significant level of experience in metrology/inspection.
  • Mechanical engineering background, preferably with experience in the Automotive or Aerospace industry.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings with good understanding of GD&T.
  • Experience in using Catia V5.
  • Experience in using and programming CMMs with GOM Inspect software essential.
  • Knowledge of Polyworks & PCDmis software would be advantageous.
  • Experience in using portable measuring equipment – Faro and Romer.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or similar is advantageous.
