Job Overview:

The Employee Experience Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills, performance, and engagement of hotel staff.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, working with diverse teams, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Create and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies that align with the hotel's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis: Assess skills gaps across various departments and design targeted learning solutions to address these needs.
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Create, coordinate, and deliver training programs, both in-house and with external partners.
  • Manage Onboarding Process: Improve the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Develop Leadership Programs: Design leadership development programs to prepare supervisors and managers for future roles.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, performance metrics, and training evaluations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
  • Leverage Technology: Introduce and leverage learning management systems (LMS), learning platforms, and other digital tools to deliver training in a flexible and scalable way.
  • Coach and Mentor Employees: Work closely with department heads and supervisors to coach employees and offer personalized development plans.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Ability to work with diverse teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
